Traveling and Hotels

Traveling and hotels

Traveling and hotels are the two main industries in hospitality. UNOH offers programs in both Travel and Hotel Management that give students first-hand experience with these important parts of the industry. In addition to classroom learning, UNOH students participate in a variety of domestic and international field trips that provide them with the practical knowledge needed to work in these sectors.

Taking a vacation is a great way to relieve stress and rejuvenate yourself, especially after a long time away from home. It’s also been proven that vacationing helps your mental and physical health. It is one of the most important things you can do for your well-being.

Hotels are a great option for travelers. They offer a number of advantages that are hard to replicate when staying with friends or family. From room service and luxury amenities to peace of mind and convenience, there are many reasons why hotel stays can make your trip much more enjoyable.

Sharing accommodation is a growing option for travelers. Services like Airbnb allow guests to stay in occupied homes for a fee, while hostels are sociable forms of accommodation that provide dorm rooms or individual beds. In both cases, guests share a bathroom, kitchen, and living areas with other people. Another form of shared accommodation is time-share, which involves a shared ownership of properties such as condos or holiday homes, with each owner receiving a period of use each year.

Lastly, hotel loyalty programs are great for racking up miles or points that can be redeemed later. While other programs such as AARP or AAA offer similar benefits, most hotel loyalty programs are free to join.
